By utilizing thick-cut, non finger-joint vertical grained wood, Elite offers the strongest wood shutters available. We feature mortise & tenon construction on all of our wood shutters. This time-honored joinery method ensures greater stability and long-lasting durability. All of our solid wood exterior shutters come with a limited warranty. It’s important to note that solid wood shutters on the exterior of your home will require regular maintenance and repainting. For the most maintenance-free products with the longest lifespans, we recommend our Architectural Series shutters or our Elite Endurance Composite.

They are then finished with a proprietary two-part industrial grade polyurethane enamel. This finish has a patented heat reflecting property that literally reflects the heat off of the surface of the product. Architectural Shutters come with the most comprehensive lifetime warranty in the industry.

Our Architectural Shutters are the most durable and stable shutter 0n the market. Manufactured with the combination of Aluminum, Polystyrene and PVC for the ultimate in long-term durability. They are then finished with a proprietary two-part industrial grade polyurethane enamel. Our exterior-grade, composite wood exterior shutters are created using a proprietary material called Extira. Made with a patented process that combines real hardwood with zinc borate and pneloic resins to fashion a shutter that will never crack, split, rot, peel, or flake. This proprietary formula and exceptional engineering make an exterior shutter that will add a lifetime of charm with very low maintenance required. We offer our composite series shutter in three finish quality levels starting at a 5 year finish warranty, then a 10 year finish warranty, and ending with a limited lifetime finish warranty.
In addition to withstanding the elements of mother-nature, Elite Endurance Composite shutters are as stylish as they are timeless. Fully customizable and available in most of our popular styles including louvered, board and batten, framed board and batten, raised panel, and flat panel designs.
